Pregnancy ROCKS...this go-round...

Well, as I enter my second trimester, I thought I'd share some things... :)

With Whitney, I was sick! So sick that I couldn't smell food or brush my teeth or even THINK about smelling something. Wow. This one, so far, has been lovely! The occasional nausea and more headaches but other than that, smooth sailing thus far!

Jon is super supportive..."no San, you can't move that couch, just sit down please". "San, I'll carry the clothes to the basement, put the hamper down", and - my personal favorite "I'll clean the kitchen, you go sit down and rest." LOVE THAT MAN! :)

Anyway, I have another doc appt. Thursday and get to hear that lovely thumping heart beat again...I can hardly wait.

AND - I've decided to post my weight gain progress...and I say that NOW cause I've only gained one pound...we'll see how long THIS lasts...

13 weeks = +1 lb

TOTAL = 1 pound

San Can Sew!

Okay...so I'm no Martha....but check this out....(drum roll please....)

Tah Dah! HA!!! Doesn't look like much but this pillow, my friends, is the very beginning of a lovely relationship between a woman and a sewing machine! And for the record, YES, we did have tie-dye printed fleece lying around the house. Whit used it to make her 11th birthday party invitations. :)

Many baby blankets and super surprises to come! Many thanks to Sis. Black for 'repairing' it for us. :) And to Whitney, my darling daughter, who ALLOWS me to use HER sewing machine... thanks, Whit. I owe ya, honey.

Okay, new blog!!

Hey guys!! I figured I outta go ahead and start a new blog since I went and got married and it's already been a year. :)

Just an update...our little (well, not so little) family is doing great! First came love, then came marriage...lol and not even a year later...I'm 12 weeks prego!! All the kiddos are super excited...especially Whitney! She thinks we should have a girl, and Hunter all but refuses to change diapers unless the baby is a boy!! :) Emma is just excited to become a BIG sister! But, sorry Mom and Marie, we are not going to find out until we deliver! I'm only beginning my fourth month and already it's hard...but we really like the idea of the surprise! Combined with the fact that God blessed us with what we need...we're happy to wait a little while!

My mom is feeling better...AMEN! She is undergoing her own natural treatment and nixed chemo. She feels much better and we are all so very proud of how strong she is!

We are also undergoing big transformations at our house! YAAAY! I'll post some pics soon...

Anyway, glad to be blogging again! I promise to keep it regularly updated this time!
